Driving the #29 Bill Fenton Motorsports SSB Honda Civic Si, Bob made a successful 2010 SCCA National debut, finishing 1st and setting a new SSB Lime Rock record of 103.287. After some difficulty with Stability Assist control in practice and qualifying, Bob got a great start, passing pole sitter Jim Ocuto (Mazda MX-5) and 2nd place qualifier Bob Demers (Pontiac Solstice) on the first lap.   From then on the Honda Civic Si performed flawlessly and Bob was able to lead every lap to claim the checkered flag.  "It wasn't an easy race, though", Bob said.  "I new the balance of the MX-5 and Solstice would give them tire advantage at the end, so I counted on lap-time and split calls from my Crew Chief, Pete Campanelli, to help me manage the split and keep the tires from wearing too much. I knew if I wore the tires too much or made a mistake, Jim Ocuto and Bob Demers would capitalize and move right back by me."
